Dr Khang Le (BDS) – Principal Dentist
Dr Le performs most aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about cosmetic dentistry with a special interest in full mouth cosmetic rehabilitation and oral implantology. In Australia where there is no registerable speciality dedicated to dental implantology, Dr Le, like many of his colleagues with a special interest in this field received his training and education by attending seminars, workshops and accreditations with various implant systems and study groups.
Dr Le regularly travels interstate and overseas to receive training with the world’s best oral surgeons. He has had comprehensive training in dental implantology, sinus lift and bone grafting techniques.
Dr Le has attained accreditation by the ASID (Australian Society of Implant Dentistry) in level 1, 2 and 3 of Dental Implantology and has attended numerous seminars and workshops. He attends annual international workshops and seminars on the latest cosmetic dental procedures and oral implantology.
Dr Le is now a supervisor and teacher for the Trinon Collegeum Practicum. Dr Le is responsible for supervising and teaching Australian and international dentists on placing dental implants and oral surgery. These courses are held in Cambodia, Laos and the Dominican Republic.
It is Dr Le’s strong belief that dentures are ‘medieval’ and therefore he chooses not to make them for his patients unless they are being supported by implants. With modern dentistry patients have more advanced options for replacing teeth that are not only functional but comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
In Dr Le’s spare time he enjoys fishing, cycling and travelling and spending time with his children. He looks forward to his annual fishing trip each year to The Great Barrier Reef.
Dr Le is a member of the ADA and ASID and holds accreditation for general anaesthetic procedures, and he has also received training in the Malo Clinic Techniques.
Dr Chi Nguyen (BDS) – Dentist
Dr Chi performs most aspects of general dentistry including preventative treatment, restorative treatment, endodontics and orthodontics.
She uses advanced technologies and cosmetic dentistry techniques to straighten, correct and align teeth such as traditional braces, ceramic (clear) braces, lingual (inside of teeth) braces, orthodontic plates and Truline.
Dr Chi is extremely passionate about early orthodontic intervention with the use of myofunctional appliances and orthodontic plates. Her strong belief about this preventative orthodontic technique can be seen in her own children as they are currently undergoing this technique.
Continuing education is very important to Dr Chi and she regularly attends continuing professional development courses to enhance her knowledge and to ensure that her patients receive the best quality of care with current techniques.
Dr Chi is a caring and thoughtful mother with a gentle nature and in her spare time, she enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with her three children.
Dr Kim Vo (BDS) – Dentist
Dr Vo graduated at La Trobe University in 2016 and received La Trobe University academic excellence scholarship.
Dr Vo practices all aspects of Dentistry with a special interest in root canal therapy, aesthetic dentistry and creating beautiful smiles.
In Dr Vo’s spare time she enjoys social tennis and fitness.
Dr Vo’s knowledge and professionalism provide an informative, comfortable and friendly approach to dentistry.
Simone Tuhan – Oral Health Therapist
Simone loves working with children, in fact prior to her dental experience, Simone worked at a Child Care Centre. Simone has amazing techniques for our little people that allows them to feel safe, comfortable and enjoyable.
Simone is an enthusiastic and energetic member of our team and is committed to providing you with the highest level of care possible. Our hygiene Department performs comprehensive dental examinations, professional and thorough dental cleans and our Zoom advanced dental whitening procedures.
Nicole Taylor – Practice Manager
With a Diploma in Business Management from the University of New England, Nicole has been part of the Beachside Dental team for over 10 years and has been a big part of the comfortable and relaxing family environment within the practice.
On top of her dental qualifications and experience, Nicole is a qualified and registered clinical hypnotist and Reiki practitioner.
Sarah Greenway – Front Office Liaison
Sarah prides herself in making each of our patients’ visits feel welcome and relaxed. Sarah has the ability to build long lasting repour with all of our patients.
Olivia Day – Front Office Patient Liaison/Dental Radiologist
Olivia is passionate about dentistry and is a licenced dental radiographer. She currently holds her dental radiography licence for intra-oral and extra oral radiography and digital imaging.
Olivia has a wealth of knowledge about the dental industry and promotes a calm, harmonious and friendly environment for your dental visit.
